We are an independent Baptist church. We are located in beautiful downtown Kirkland and nestled in a growing community along the Eastside of Lake Washington.  It is our desire to share the message of God’s redeeming love and grace with the world.

First Baptist is a family of believers who have been called into a living and working relationship with Jesus Christ. Comprised of people from all walks of life (senior adults, young adults, married and singles as well as teens and children), we come together to provide a balanced picture of a church family that truly desires to be a reflection of the Body of Christ.

The Overall Vision of First Baptist Church:
“Loving God, one another and the world”

In accordance with the great mandate of the church (Matt 28: 18-20), the vision of FBC is to make disciples, baptize them and teach them.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will endeavor to be an outward oriented witness of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8)

For the Church (Body of Christ):
1.  FBC will be a ministry that trains Christians to understand and share their faith in Jesus Christ.
2.  FBC will be a ministry equally dedicated to introducing people to the Person of Jesus Christ and affording them an opportunity to enter into real relationship with Him as their Savior.

For the Community surrounding FBC:
FBC will be a ministry that engages our current culture and attempt to meaningfully serve and incarnate Christ through individual and corporate activity.

For the World:
FBC will be a ministry that equips Christians to serve the Lord in other local churches, on the mission field and any other situation they fnd themselves to be in.

Our Commitment as a Church Family:
All that we have in earthly possessions, natural ability and spiritual gifting will be available to the Lord Jesus Christ at the direction and behest of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God the Father.  Amen.
