Continuing our tour through the Old Testament. In this class we learn the Bible through history. You probably know a lot, if not most, of the stories in the Old Testament, but perhaps not how they fit together.  Where does Jonah overlap with the events in the rest of the Bible? What was happening when Jeremiah was prophesying?  This class will work its way through the Old Testament, surveying the books and events, putting them into their historical context. By following the thread of God’s interaction with his people across time, we can learn more about Him and better understand and apply the scriptures to our lives.  In this portion of the class we will start with David, work our way through Malachi, and then look at the period between the testaments.  This class is not only for those who took Part 1.  No prior knowledge is necessary and all are welcome.
