The church is most beautiful when there is balance within its midst. The sound of First Baptist reflects the Body of Christ that comprises it. Where there are young adults, senior adults, teens and children there will also be a variety of forms of music. Balance in theology reminds us that God is both immanent as well as transcendent. A reflection of our theology is our music. There is balance between the hymns (exalting God in His majesty and glory) and spiritual songs (bringing us near to His mercy and grace) that touch each worshipper. Grace extended in each direction leads to worship that is balanced and biblical. (Eph 4: 19-20; Col 3: 16-17; Phil 4:8; Rom 12: 10-13)

Praise Team – Leading the congregation in worship through songs. The praise team echoes the choir’s aim to exalt God and direct others to be like minded when singing to the Lord.

Instrumentalists - The beauty of the Body of Christ can be seen in the variety of not only spiritual gifts, but natural talents as well. Given back to God, these natural talents serve to bring glory to God. Currently seeking musicians to fillout the sound of the music program.
