Upcoming Youth Events

We always have high energy events planned for our youth group each month. Check out what we have coming up below:

April:

  • Super Hero Night (April 4th, 6:30pm-8:15pm) Do you have a favorite Super Hero? If you do, join us and come dressed up as your favorite Super Hero. From Superman to the Hulk, we won’t judge you based on who you come as, as long as you come as someone! Don’t have a favorite Super Hero? That’s fine, make one up. After all, how often do you have the opportunity to wear underwear on the outside of your pants?
  • Teen Feed (April 20th, 4:30pm-7:00pm) This is our opportunity to reach out and serve our community. Once a month our youth group prepares dinner for the teens at the KTUB (Kirkland Teen Union Building) were we take the meal down and serve them. We can always use more helping hands if you’re interested.
  • Seattle Trip (April 28th, 9:00am-12:00pm) Join us for a time of exploring Seattle. We’ll be heading to Pike’s Place Market along with a few other mystery locations. Bring your friends along with a few extra bucks as we’ll be stopping by the original Starbucks, the donut shop and whatever other booths are at the market. For more information, contact Eric Malone at eric@1stbaptistchurch.org.
  • Spring Break- If you’re on Spring break, please give a youth leader a call and we’d love to take you out for a cup of coffee or lunch. It’s on us!

May:

  • Over the Boarder Night (May 2nd, 6:30pm-8:15pm) We’re planning on having one big Fiesta! Join us as we take part in the Cinco De Mayo celebrations a few days early. Where you’re sombreros and come ready for some fun and adventurous Mexican games and food!
  • Teen Feed (May 18th, 4:30pm-7:00pm) This is our opportunity to reach out and serve our community. Once a month our youth group prepares dinner for the teens at the KTUB (Kirkland Teen Union Building) were we take the meal down and serve them. We can always use more helping hands if you’re interested.
  • Stay tuned, another trip is in the process of being planned for the youth group for the month of May. Contact Eric Malone if you have any questions.
